Free Biological Age Calculator Spreadsheet
Get started with biological age calculations using our free Google Sheets template. This spreadsheet automatically calculates and charts ChronoAge, PhenoAge, and LinAge biological age assessments using the Biometric Calculator API.
For detailed API documentation, see the ChronoAge Calculator API, PhenoAge Calculator API, and LinAge Calculator API. For scientific foundations, see the PhenoAge scientific foundation and LinAge scientific foundation.

How to Use
Step 1: Copy the Spreadsheet
- Open the spreadsheet link
- Click File → Make a copy to create your own editable version
- Save the copy to your Google Drive
Step 2: Configure Settings
- Open the Settings sheet
- Enter your API key in the designated field
- Enter the birth date of the person for whom you’ll provide test data
- Select the sex (male or female) of the person
Step 3: Enter Test Data
- Open the Data sheet
- For your first set of tests, edit the Value fields in the Test section of column E
- PhenoAge: Enter values for all rows with light blue backgrounds
- LinAge: Enter values for any available parameters
- ChronoAge: Test date is automatically used
- The Value fields in the Result section will automatically update with calculated biological ages
Step 4: Track Multiple Tests
To track biological age over time:
- Copy the Value fields from the Result section of column E
- Paste them into the next available column to the right
- Edit the Value fields in the Test section of that new column with your new test data
- Results will automatically update
Step 5: View Charts
- Open the Chart sheet
- View automatic visualizations of biological age trends over time
- Charts update automatically as you add new test data
What Gets Calculated
ChronoAge
Calculates precise chronological age from birth date and test date, providing detailed breakdowns in years, months, weeks, and days.
Required Inputs:
- Birth date
- Test date
PhenoAge
Calculates biological age using 9 essential clinical biomarkers based on peer-reviewed research by Dr. Morgan Levine.
Required Inputs:
- Birth date
- Test date
- Albumin (g/dL)
- Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) (U/L)
- Creatinine (mg/dL)
- C-Reactive Protein (CRP) (mg/L)
- Glucose (mg/dL)
- Lymphocyte Percentage (%)
- Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) (fL)
- Red Blood Cell Distribution Width (RDW) (%)
- White Blood Cell Count (WBC) (K/μL)
LinAge
Calculates advanced biological age using 61+ clinical parameters, providing the most comprehensive biological age assessment available.
Required Inputs:
- Birth date
- Test date
- Sex (male or female)
- Up to 61+ clinical parameters (see LinAge Calculator API for complete list)
Understanding Your Results
Biological Age vs. Chronological Age
- ChronoAge: Your actual age based on your birth date
- Biological Age: An estimate of your body’s functional age based on biomarkers
- Difference: The gap between biological and chronological age
- Negative difference: Your biological age is younger than your chronological age
- Positive difference: Your biological age is older than your chronological age
Interpreting Trends
The chart sheet helps you visualize:
- Changes in biological age over time
- Effectiveness of lifestyle interventions
- Impact of health improvements or declines
- Comparison between different biological age algorithms (PhenoAge vs. LinAge)
Tips for Best Results
- Consistent Testing: Use the same laboratory for all tests when possible
- Complete Data: Enter all required biomarkers for accurate calculations
- Regular Tracking: Test at regular intervals (e.g., every 3-6 months) to see trends
- Same Conditions: Try to test under similar conditions (time of day, fasting status, etc.)
- Clinical Context: Results should be interpreted alongside clinical assessments
